Love for movies
I am a big movie buff. I love watching films in the theatre. It's fun to watch movies at home too but certain films have to be seen on the big screen to get the most out of the visual effects.
Hot on Hollywood
The last movie I watched was The Campaign with Will Ferrell and Zack Galifianakis. It's a laugh riot. A must-watch for all fans of the comedy genre. But my most favourite film so far is Gladiator. I don't think it can get better than that. I liked Russell Crowe in the film. But I admire Brad Pitt as an actor. He is among my favourite Hollywood actors.
Early memories
I used to watch a lot of Disney movies as a child. I loved films like The Lion King and Aladdin. There's a reason why everyone loves Walt Disney's films. Not only do they educate and inspire but they are entertaining as well. My favourite movies as a child were The Lion King and Legend. They both bring back a lot of memories.
My childhood idol- Tom Cruise
Childhood idol
I've admired Tom Cruise since I was a child. He's such a dedicated actor. Though he's always had the best roles, it's evident that he puts his heart and soul into his character. From Top Gun to The Firm and Legend, I've loved him in all his films. Tom Cruise's character in Top Gun – Lt Pete Mitchell aka Maverick is also something I'd love to play. I am Maverick in my own way. I don't want to be Goose or Iceman. It's Maverick all the way.
Dream role
If I were to act in a movie, it would be a James Bond film. I am a huge 007 fan. I have watched all the classic Bond films as a kid with my father. I'd love to play a superhero too as I love movies based on comic books. I'm a huge graphic novel junkie. I love watching action films and thrillers. The James Bond films and movies like The Bourne Identity are my kind of stuff.
My all time favourite film- Chak De! India
Favourite Hindi films
I may not watch too many Hindi films but my all-time favourites have to be Chak De India! and Lagaan. Both movies have great scripts and superb actors. In fact, what I really love about our film industry is the fact that they can churn out so many movies in a single year. It is impressive.
Limitations of B-town
Though we make so many movies a year and quite a few good ones at that, we need to reduce the length of our films. Also, it'll be great if we could do away with the intermission in the theatres, just like the West has. I like watching films at one go without an intermission. I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me on this.
Inspiring actors
Ranbir Kapoor, from the newer generation, is one actor we should watch out for. From the little I've seen of him, the guy can act. And, of course, Aamir Khan is my all-time favourite actor.
Priyanka Chopra- The number one actress
The number one actress
Among Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, I'd say Priyanka is the number one heroine today. Not only can she act but she also sings well. She's multi-talented. Plus, she's gorgeous and that's always an added advantage.
Compliments galore
Salman Khan has given me the best compliment to date. He has and still calls me Elvis (Presley). That can't be too bad, right?
Sexiest actress- Nargis Fakhri
Sexiest actress in B-town
I find actresses sexy depending on the mood I'm in. But on a serious note, it's a tough one between Priyanka Chopra and Nargis Fakhri.
