TereNaina and Beboholic, even though Anuskha doesn't have the best PR or market herself well, she can act better than Deepika. She is talented and natural. She was the best thing about JTHJ and bubbly. Deepika is not consistent. Race 2 looks so ordinary. How many movies have we seen like this? Race is a copycat of Dhoom. And Deepika just has one film which did well, Cocktail. So what? Anuskha is doing less films but she lets her work speak for itself. I just feel Deepika is doing to many movies and she will probably not benefit from being just a glam doll in Race 2. Perhaps we will see some acting in Ram Leela, but I don't expect SLB to make a good film.

I can see why Anushka is jealous of Deepika. Both were models who got dream debuts opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Yet, Deepika became an overnight rising star - she signed films even before OSO released. She won awards and beat a starchild, Sonam Kapoor. And her relationship with Ranbir kept her in the news.

Anushka on the other hand, lost out on all the awards - and not even to a starchild. She didn't get offers after offers despite her first film being a superhit which was directed by Aditya Chopra. Nor was she on the news for dating a Kapoor. She just didn't get the attention that she thought she deserved.

I can understand her bitterness, but she shouldn't make it so obvious.

I remember Anushka in many interviews around BBB time, not exactly complaining, but she was confused about why, despite having what was perhaps a bigger debut than Deepika did, no one was talking about her with the same hype Sonam and Deepika had. It's really not like her acting was horrible or panned in RNBDJ...it was either better or along the same lines as Sonam/Deepika tbh. Rab Ne did quite well as well.

On top of that, I guess if someone like Aditya Chopra tells you you're not pretty enough to be here...I guess it really does kill your confidence.

I think a small part of it also had to do with the fact that SRK-Farah created such a huge hype around OSO, Deepika (acting like she's God's gift to Bollywood), then the clash with Saawariya...whereas Rab Ne was a very low-key affair, with little promotions...and well now is mostly remembered for Surinder Sahni and the music.
