Akshay is an amazing actor...have always liked him...he was amazing in all those khiladi movies but but but I don't think he can carry off a character with style like Salman did/does esp in Dabangg. The reason why Dabangg worked in the first place was the amazing style and charisma Chulbul Pandey had...the way he talked, walked, danced, everything had a style...and not every actor has convincingly portray such roles!!!

and lol Akshay does so many movies...only Rowdy Rathore and Khiladi 786 are his action movies this year...then how can you say he is copying Salman?? well I believe no one copies anyone...the actors just do the films they get offered...it's not like they call the directors or producers to make a certain types of films... they just choose which ones to do among the ones they are offered!!

About hating on Akshay? Well, you are entitled to do that. But, Rowdy Rathore was just luck for him. He is very redundant and needs to stop doing these crappy movies. And it was not just 2012. It has been for so many years now! He is like Govinda, will fade out and people are already sick of him. 😕

Akshay Kumar's career was completely destroyed after TMK..!!! RR, Housefull didnt change anything.Joker was the biggest joke of the yeaaarrr!!!

It's called following a trend. When one actor does something and becomes successful in it, other actors follow the lead. When Amir's promotional strategy in Ghajini became successful, Salman used the same kind of strategy. Soon other actors followed it. Remake of South films is a norm at present so every actor is opting for a role in Southern remakes. The only actor I find exceptional is Amir he doesn't follow trends he makes trend.

Akshay act in Khiladi 786 was blatantly reminiscent of Salman's act from Dabangg and unfortunately it failed. These acts are becoming so repetitive by the current actors that Dabanng 2 might not live up to its hype.
