Anybody can go over BEBO...she is not some phenominal actress nor has she done challending roles ...not saying she is a bad actress...she does pull of her roles well...but I do not think she has set any standard really...

PC on the other hand...be it saath khoon maaf or Barfi or Fashion...or even Aitraaz for that matter has made her mark as an actress for me

Deepika will have to improve to get PC...looking at how she pulled of cocktail..she is there with bebo already for me !!

Vidya though is amazing now..

in terms of film offers and popularity.. maybe. In terms of acting.. bebo pulled off a chameli earlier in her career.. Deepika doesn't have a performance close to that and she's been in the industry longer than when bebo had done chameli. So Obv no she can't surpass bebo or PC in acting department.. she might surpass PC though since I find her mediocre in commercial films .. I rather watch Deepika in a commercial film than PC even now.. PC tends to be artificial in commercial films.

Deepika is very inconsistent in acting - she was good in Om Shanti Om as Shanti but not as Sandy-she was the weakest one in Bachna Ae Haseeno, even Minissha Lamba was better than her- she was okay in Break ke Baad, good in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan se and excellent in Cocktail. She reminds me of Bebo in earlier days, where Bebo did better with smaller films than the bigger ones. And, PC did better in parallel films than commercial cinema. So yes she has an advantage of being that commercial actress but still not the serious kind of roles and her role in Cocktail wasn't that dark. As for surpassing them, I don't think she can do that next year. In few years, sure but not next year.

I was telling my mom that Kareena is getting amazing reviews for her role in Talaash. And she's like when does bebo ever act bad.. lol I love my mom. And than she's like the only movie i dislike her in was Kushi her earlier film with Fardeen. And she's like I also didn't like her in Asoka because the movie was boring.. lol she didn't like her because the movie was boring.. that's hilarious.

just heard in movie masala that deepika is the highest paid actress when it comes to brand endorsements...and i think they get paid according to their market position...so she already has surpassed bebo there...if kareena has jwm then deepika has cocktail...and after signing ram-leela deepika is also a BHANSALI heroine which is a big achievement...which kareena has been dreaming all her life...

i also think she will be a bigger star than priyanka very soon😊

i mean looking at PC when she first started off and watching her perform now it rly shows you what hard work can do for you. even kareena was improved so much. deepika seems to be improving with every movie and has really portraying different roles so im sure with time and hard work she can make it.

however PC and Kareena have set milestones in their careers already, and not just one but quite a few.

An ctresses career span is so short..it takes about 5 years for an actress with potential to get a footing in the film industry..The next 5 years she sort of establishes herself...after a decade of her presence on the big screen,,janta and heroes have had enough and gives her the heave ho..and look for fresh maal😕

Basically that is the rule of the game in Bollywood.Fans of younger stars are luckier..in the last 5 years of social media,they have seen them rise and perhaps for next 5 years still have something to look forward to..

Heroes on the other hand..have built fan bases over a period of over 2 decades😲...and will continue like Rajnikant,Amitabh for a decade more..LUCKY FANS!

Deepika for one is not a one movie wonder. Nobody thought she'd survive with good movies and decent acting post her smashing debut with OSO yet she did. She's improving as an actress and Arakshan is the movie that really changed my perception about her as an actress

If she selects good scripts and focus on work, she will reach new heights as a successful Indian actress. I of course don't believe in this number game so I don't think she'll replace anybody. But she will definitely make a very own space for herself in the industry

Kareena and Katrina have been far ahead of the competition since 2008. According to Boxofficeindia, No.1 and No.2 has been..

2010 Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif,

2009 Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif.

2008 Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif.

I guess Katrina would be No.1 for 2011 and 2012.. I don't know.

Ultimately, box office success is the main factor which decides your position in the industry. Priyanka gained far more mileage out of Barfi than Kaminey. That's the reason why Kareena and Katrina have maintained their positions for so long. There is no one really promising in the newcomer heroine area.. so there is a good chance Deepika will be the next No.1. She has time on her side.
