ETT was a solo release and a masala movie...JTHJ...didn't have a single day of clear run...if that means anything...and Romantic genre doesn't do as well as the masala genre...thts a given...so why compare??

i don't think anybody in this tread talked about the movie here i'm sure that dabbang will be a huge success i was just asking about the item number but i made my opinion thanks

Dont twist it Dabbang 2 has great hype no one is denying that,we are talking about the fevicol song here 😆

I would say the song didn't get the response that Chikni Chameli, Munni, Sheila Ki Jaawani or even Chamak Challo got. But lets wait and see...I don't think everyone knows about the song yet. I feel like it's still new. We need a little time for the song to grow on people. A lot of ppl dislike Chikni and Sheila at the beg...but now it's considered the best of items songs.

That said...I think the video was a let down for a lot of people...esp since Kareena is not a great dancer like Katrina or Malika or even Sonaski. Kareena though is miles ahead of these girls in terms of expressions.

However...I think most people are loving the song/lyrics. Esp the Mere photo Koh seeneh se yaar chipkaaleh saya fevicol se...I see a lot of ppl tweeting about the lyrics

I also think that Fevicol se is not that great of a song as Munni was...WHen I heard Munni I couldn't stop listening to it.

Music of 'Dabangg 2' has masses in the interiors as the target audience and there, especially in the cow belt, it would do quite well. 'Pandeyji', 'Fevicol' and 'Dagabaaz' are all chartbuster material. Yes, popular songs always act as good ingredient towards a film's success and Sajid-Wajid compositions for 'Dabangg 2' aren't any exceptions.

I feel like there was more hype around Sheila, Munni, Chammak Challo and Chikni Chameli than Fevicol Se... but I don't know!

I personally love the song though. 😆
