Talaash Beats OMG Oh My God!; Grabs 9th Position in Koimoi Top 10 India Box Office 2012

After making a business of approximately Rs 79 crores till its 2nd weekend, Talaash added another 2.85 crores approx from 2nd Monday to 2nd Tuesday to land at a domestic total of Rs 81.85 crores at the Box Office. With this, Talaash has surpassed the lifetime domestic collection of OMG Oh My God! by a small margin and now stands at No. 9 position in the Koimoi.com Bollywood Top 10 India Box Office 2012 ladder.

With 81.5 crores lifetime collection, OMG Oh My God! now stands on No. 10. Position in the list. However, next week's major release Dabangg 2 is touted to change the position of most of the movies in the list.

Khiladi 786 $1 Million Weekend Talaash Is Third Biggest Grosser Overseas Of 2012

Khiladi 786 was poor overseas with around $1 million over the weekend. even Pakistan which could have better due due to the name was poor as even in that market Talaash dominated in the second weekend. The figures from major markets are as follows.

United Kingdom - 105,000

North America - $230,000

UAE - $300,000

Australia - $70,000

Talaash has emerged a SUPER HIT film overseas as it has grossed $7.25 million in ten days. The film is the third biggest overseas grosser of 2012 after Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ek Tha Tiger. SUPER HIT

United Kingdom - 715,000

North America - $2,400,000

UAE - $1,900,000

Australia - $565,000

Talaash Collects 80 Crore In Two Weeks

Talaash collected 15.50 crore nett in week two to take its two week total to 80 crore nett. the film fell 76% in week two.

The film should hold better this week as it is an open week and the big multiplexes have the same number of shows as week two. The two best circuits for the film will be Mumbai where it will cross 32 crore nett and Mysore where it will cross 8 crore nett.

The film may get to 90 crore nett depending on what happens over the third weekend. As the film is a multiplex film the business on weekends is stronger than the film on weekdays.

Talaash Second Week Box Office Collection 16.69 cr nett. Total - 84.38 cr nett.

Talash has collected around 16.69 crore nett in its 2nd Week at the box office. Actual may vary. Talaash 14 day collection now stands at 84.38 crore nett. Talaash has remained steady in its collection in the second week. Such steady collection in the second week has ensured that Talash will now touch 90 crore nett mark.

Talaash will get another week at the box office as no major releases are there this Friday. Whether it can be benefitted from this is to be seen. As if now it looks extremely difficult for the film to touch or reach 100 crore nett mark. Its lifetime collection is heading somewhere between 90-95 crore nett mark.
