a film doing well overseas has nothing to do with it catering to the "educated" audience...

The overseas audiences love karan johar and yash chopra brand of cinema...the sanitized grand candy floss melodramas which practically define bollywood for the west... which is why their movies always score well overseas...and since srk is the brand ambassador of this kind of cinema, his movies are bound to do well overseas too...

tht dosent mean the movie is being appreciated by the more "educated" audience...

Overseas people are not fond of the masala movies, they are more in to romance

Sorry but there was better music than JTHJ this year. And i would say i am not in minority on this. JTHJ is not the highest music selling album of the year. It may not be even Top-3.

Yes there were better but these awards are given according to voting conducted in UK.

YRF paid nobody so shut it with those statements.

But I don't agree with these awards since it wasn't the best Indian movie in 2012 to win such awards. Rahman's music was bad and Yash Chopra winning against Barfi, Kahani? 😕

SRK winning over Ranbir for Barfi is the least worried category compared to the rest because he was the only good thing about the flick

No offense intended to anybody and this is just my 2 cents
