Jab Tak Hai Jaan has emerged the fourth highest opening week worldwide with 148 crore approx gross worldwide box office. Ek Tha Tiger leads by a distance and is only film to gross 200 crore plus in one week worldwide. Son Of Sardaar grossed 97 crore worldwide. The top ten worldwide GROSS Opening weeks are as follows.

1. Ek Tha Tiger - 208 crore

2. Bodyguard - 167 crore

3. Ra.One - 165 crore

4. Jab Tak Hai Jaan - 148 crore

5. Three Idiots - 136 crore

6. Agneepath - 131 crore

7. Don 2 - 129 crore

8. Dabangg - 124 crore

9. Rowdy Rathore - 115 crore

10. Housefull 2 - 105 crore

Anyways I guess ADF hasnt declared the cost of SOS and nor will they ever officially let out the correct figures. So we will never know.

ETT = Salman's cost including in budget which is almost 25-30 Cr.

U putting SOS in same category is totally out of question. Both the film are not in same genre, not in same league.

SOS is Ajay's production. If he charge per film from 5-10 Cr. thn also SOS budget won't have crossed 50 Cr in any way.

If u have seen the promos, do u think a light Comedy/Romance/Family Movie will have 80 Cr Budget? What exactly cost so much for this film? Only 1 shot from SOS mainly shot abroad, may be that was edited graphically... all songs in india... no big hero/heroine... how would u add up things to 80 Cr??

Also if a film is sold on 80 Cr, u think it's budget is 80 Cr... yaani ke Ajay sold film on 0 profit 😆

Haha!!! ETT was higher budget than JTHJ but recall the difference in money making between those 2 flicks. Also. ETT didn't have AR Rehman or Gulzar in their team. Only 2 known supporting cast. 2 Leads, Sohail Sen as the music director. Lol. Also, ETT with promotions cost 90cr.

JTHJ cost 60cr without SRK's pay. 20cr is said to be his payment. And you're talking as if they didn't have more background dancers, more venues within those locations, more costumes use, I heard they shot this movie in 5 parts of Kashmir and took 4 trips to UK to complete the movie. There you go, Unlike ETT. which completed it's schedule at one place before moving to next. Mashallah song wasn't even shot in Morocco, they built the set in India. And most scenes that apparently took place in Cuba were shot in Thailand coz it was cheaper to shoot there.

The only background dancers they had was in ishq shava, in challa they had very few and also few in jiya re. Compared to ETT where mashallah and banjaara had huge amount of dancers.

And get your facts right. They ONLY had 2 london schedules and shot in 2 places in Kashmr.

Yes we know they didn't shoot Mashallah in Morocco, that is a famous story. Salman interfered and abused YRF and started his diva and said he only will shot in mumbai or else he won't shot it. No one said ETT was shot in Morocco😛
