Due to limited release for specific films and ticket price difference. 1 movie ticket in NZ = 9 movie tickets in India. 1 in USA = 6 in India. That's India's multiplexes. But in single screens would 15 - 20 people in India = 1 person in NZ

Also. Coz domestic collections help add the correct figure while overseas collections are rather mess through it's belongings to different currencies. Check BoxOffice India for full article.

These are films meant for the Indian audiences. So its fair that only India collections are considered. Otherwise everyone will start making films only for NRIs leaving common Indian mass high and dry. Lets not forget that 20 people can watch a movie in an Indian single screen for the price of one ticket in USA.

LMAO JTHJ had overseas promotions ROFL haha some people will go to any extent to claim false stuff.

It had no overseas promotions.

The movie was only middle promoted, it didn't have full on promotions like ra.one and ett. So get the facts right.

Overall Film performing well in Overseas will increase it's popularity factor worldwide, when we consider HIT/FLOP, it is more important for Film 2 perform on Domestic Level. Overseas is just 15-20% in consideration of overall release scale.

TRUE! her recent EMAET was a big overseas success. Also yaadein was quite successful overseas despite being a flop in india!
