Tanishaa Mukerji: 'Shah Rukh Khan film success down to Salman Khan'

Tanishaa Mukherji has said that Jab Tak Hai Jaan's box office success is due to a tie-in with Salman Khan's last release.
The Son of Sardaar producer suggested that Shah Rukh Khan's film would not have done well if it had not been sold as part of a package with Ek Tha Tiger.đ€Ł
Mukherji wrote on Twitter: "In #SOS @ajaydevgn came by 2 horses. How did SRK come in JTHJ? on Salman's shoulders #Screen booking through ETT."
Mukherji also denied media reports that her sister Kajol had attended Jab Tak Hai Jaan'spremiere via a back door entrance to the event.
"I find it hard to believe since she was home with me. #checkurfacts," said Mukherji, adding: "Did they clone her?"
The former actress made a request to her Twitter followers to send pictures of any crowds outside cinemas screening Son of Sardaar that she could use to publicise the film on Facebook.đ€Ł
Mukherji previously featured in the commercially unsuccessfulđ Yash Raj Films release Neal 'n' Nikki.
She is said to have been in a two-year relationship with co-star Uday Chopra, before they acrimoniously broke up after she reportedly started dating Upen Patel.đ
Ajay Devgn's complaint about Yash Raj Films' influence on exhibitors was turned down by the Competition Commission of India last week.đ
