* SPOILER *

Katrina didn't even bother full-filling her fathers wish of marrying the other guy. Her entire reason for seperating from Shahrukh was so lame and difficult to digest.

SPOILER

@ xPristinex

^The reason behind that was because the meeting with her mother changed her view on relationships. She knew she couldn't be with anyone else expect srk because she only loved him but the problem was that she thought that she wasn't lucky for him that's why she stayed away from him because she thought in this way she won't hurt him.

^I really loved it. I know someone personally who did that too. And such things happens with some people. But it only happens for those who has the confidence and believe in themselves to take such a big desicion.

The message was really beautiful of the movie. The message was that love is above commitments, religion etc.

Adultery is such an unforgivable act but then again love makes you do crazy things!

OMGGG I FORGOT TO MENTION THE SMOKING SCENE OF KATRINA WOW <3

That was a very creative and bold scene for me. She in traditional lehenga on her her engagement night sitting outside and smoking free.

That's when I realized how amazinlgly yashji knows our generation. We are the boldest generations and traditions is something which was known in past not today.

Loved that take. It was amazingly executed.

I loved that scene, so badass.

*SPOILER*

I didn't understand, in the second half where 10 years passed by, what happend to Katrina's family? She just randomly started living with Shahrukh out of the blue, none of her family was concerned as to where she was?

And the fact that when Shahrukh went to go diffuse the bomb in the train, WHY WAS THE SECURITY STILL THERE...there was a friggin bomb in the friggin train.

*SPOILER ALERT*

About Meera's conflict, how do I word it...I think it was the kind of relationship she shared with God from a young age...the way she bargained for things. I mean its such a common practice, we all have probably done that so many times. And since its so common that when its highlighted as the turning point of the story we're taken aback and see it as a menial thing. But, she always kept her end of the bargain as she believed that God will grant her wishes (which He did). And when it came to the life of her loved one (which was probably the most important aspect to her life after her dad), she once again bargained to not do anymore 'wrong' (since she was pretty much having an affair w/ Samar as she was already engaged)...so that's why she put up the condition that she won't commit the wrong, if God just saves her loved ones life. And as always, God kept His side of the bargain and she complied to hers. She had trust in Him and I guess in a way her stand to separate was her way to do the morally right thing and thank God!! Its an interesting situation, I mean in today's world where relationships (of all kinds) have become so materialistic, here comes Meera w/ such strong faith in God through which she communicates w/ Him. I liked it...it may not seem such a big conflict unless we realize the depth and think about the situation she was in.
