Why 40+ actors still getting ROLES, 30+ ACTRESSES? - Page 3

im sorry it doesnt matter if they are hot or not they are 44+ middle aged oldies that should be called uncle ji by these stunning leading ladies

an oldy srk acting like a teenage love struck with kats im sorry but it looks pathetic bless yasjis soul but its about time love stories have the right lead pair & not put some oldy in the movie to please them

chuck srk,aamir,salman,saif ,akshay out of romanic love stories now it doesnt mean that saif struck gold by marrying a young girl, after desperate measures of tattooing her name so she doesnt dump him, makes him a spring chicken

same man married amrita & bebe must have said congrats uncle ji
im not watching that pathetic katrina/srk movie as i cant bare to see wrinkly srk prancing like a wannabe teenager romancing a girl old enough to be his daughter how disgraceful

It's what filmmakers force us to digest. I mean if they kept on bringing the 30+ actresses to our screens then I am sure we would accept them. I think this forum is a good indication that people would still go watch movies with Kajol, Juhi, Sridevi, Madhuri, Rani, Karisma is the leads if the movies seem to be good.

The age difference between the 40+ actors and the 20 something actresses cast opposite them is glaringly obvious that it's difficult to digest yet it is shoved in our faces constantly that we just accept it. If this were to happen with the older actresses then I am sure we would accept it too. If the actresses are given a reason, then yeah I am sure they can look young because they are beautiful still. Kajol is trying isn't she? To some extent she has succeeded in improving her looks. Give these actresses good stylists and trainers (no they aren't fat but being toned will do wonders for them) I am sure they will look great.

srk is my fav actor and i don't like seeing him acting with teenage girls. he should seriously sign a movie with vidya.

And you know, actually SRK doen't act opposite much young girls so often like other actors...
Last time we have seen him with 20 years younger actress was OSO...He has acted with Kareena, Kajol, Priyanka & Lara Dutta recently...
Also I don't understand why you blame actors. They don't choose the leading ladies...

India is a patriarchal country. We like our men old, dominating and perverted and our women young, innocent and sexy. Any man or woman who does not meet our ideals will suffer terrible fates unless they marry somebody who does match our standards. If you think this is unfair, or misogynistic, you are better off trying your luck with the Anti-Corruption movement.😆

Its naturally that man get more handsome as they age and women age quicker. My personal theory is that men do not wear makeup on a daily basis as women(actresses) and thus age slower. I also feel that makeup ages you quicker. My aunt who hardly ever maybe a few times in her life wore makeup is in her 50's and looks in her early 30's because she hardly has a wrinkle on her face. 😃

first of all the stories in the bollywood movies is revolving around love...

that too first love...young man meet girl...

so obviously these young men (40+Actors) age in the movie is like 30-35 not more than that...
so that they look for a heroine who suit the role...

secondly...bollywood for heroines...is not only acting...heroine is for glamour and other stuffs...
the 30 + heroines like vidhya, preity,rani,kajol,and madhuri /sridevi...all lost their charm as young ladies...they cant do a role what anushka,deepika,sonakshi, etc have done in their movie...

Sexism...even women never stands up for women...

Sometimes I really feel bad for 30+ actresses.They struggle a lot to get into films and finally when they attain success and want to do more successful films then suddenly they are out of demand!Why?Because they are 30+.All their costars,producers, directors who loved working with them are now opting for much younger girls.The media starts questioning them about marriage and retirement. Really!The film industry is indeed unfair and unjust towards actresses.
