Though for all practical purposes, Karisma Kapoor's marriage with Sunjay Kapoor is over she continues to maintain fabulous ties with his family, particularly with Sunjay's sisterMandira.

On Saturday Karisma flew into Delhi for Mandira's birthday party,a sit-in dinner at a luxury hotel attended by close Friends and family.

Says a source from Delhi, "Lolo is Sunjay's family's pet. She is specially close to Mandira. She had to be there for Mandira's birthday. In fact Lolo makes it a point to be in Delhi for all major family functions in Sunjay's family.Though he is now seeing someone else and wants to marry again Sunjay's family continues to be close to Lolo."

what a shame!

he doesn't show up at her sister's wedding and she goes there! and then we say why women dont get equal respect, may be they need to respect themselves first! disappointed at karisma

i hope lolo wakes up and smells the coffee, she deserves so much better!

Seems like these two families got married to each other rather than the bride and the groom. Every relationship is great amongst themselves except for the one between the husband and wife.

Her husband wants to get married again😕 to his girlfriend. Karisma should walk away now. But off course we don't know the details. Feel sad for her kids.

I think karisma is being mature here!! She does not have to break ties with the family due to Sunjay! Sunjay is an asshole and it is stupid to expect maturity from him!!

Sanjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor have been in rumour mills for a long while due to their alleged separation, and Sanjay's affair with socialite, Priya Chatwal. But both Karisma, her family, and Sanjay Kapur have denied commenting on this rumours. However, the reports this time are even stronger. A lot of people questioned Sanjay's absence

from Saif-Kareena's wedding. Reports say that the real story is Karisma was tired of Sanjay's extra-marital affair with Priya Chatwal and left him because of that. Sanjay's own family too had abandoned him and is supporting Karisma through these tough times.

Apparently, Sanjay had shown interest in attending Saif-Kareena wedding with his new girlfriend but his family advised against it as that would ruin the pleasant environment at the wedding. During a heated argument over this, Sanjay spilled a glass of wine on his sister's face. Both his parents and sister have condemned his affair and are siding with Karisma. They were invited to the grace the wedding reception.

It's also said that Karisma tried to fix their marital problems, but Sanjay was least interested.

That's very mature of Karishma. I find it very stupid that when a husband/ wife or gf/bf break up then they break ties with everyone related to them. That is sooo stupid and immature. You have problem with your husband not with his family. and I am glad she recognizes that :)
