I notice that in triangle love stories whoever that don't win the person they love's heart, steals the show and wins the audience's heart. They feel lonely, angry, sad, become crazy or something happens after the person they love chooses another person

For example like Shahrukh in Darr, he was the obsessive lover that tried to win her heart. He became crazy and became a murder too but at the end, he don't get the girl, he dies but Shahrukh ends up overshadowing the other lead actors in the movie and became a star.

Deepika in Cocktail - She loves him but he don't love her. He finds true love. She becomes like a wild party girl who does drugs but changes herself to the good. He still chooses the other girl but she ends up overshadowing the other lead actors in the movie and became a star

Priyanka in Aitraaz - She was the sexy chick. She became negative character tries to ruin he's life because she wants him to be back with her. She still loves him but he has a wife now, don't care about her. At the end, she don't get the guy but she overshadows the other lead actors in the movie

Karisma in Dil to Pagal Hai - She loves shahrukh but shahrukh loves madhuri. She even dance battles with madhuri. But at the end, she's left alone and people still remember her in that movie.

Kajol in Gupt was a negative role as well. She loves him too much and was killing people. She didn't get the guy she loved but she overshadow the other lead actors.

Urmila in Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya - She becomes a crazy person obsessing over him. She even tries to commit suicide but he rescues and he still tells her that he don't love her but she runs after him and even make he's life miserable. (Urmila got 8 nominations for the best actress in villian role and the best actress)

From the new movie Student of the year...Haven't seen it but Varun I heard doesn't get the girl or the trophy but critics and audience love him and he's being called the show stealer

I just notice that whoever doesn't get their love in the movie, always ends up overshadowing the other lead actors in the film

oh yeah how can I forget Ajay in Deewangee. He does a crime for he's love but when they try to arrest him, he tries to act like a mentally ill person so he don't have to be in prison but be in a mental hospital. But he becomes crazy in love with urmila but urmila is in love with Akshay. He's left in prison while she finds true. - Ajay won 3 best actor award for he's performance in a negative role for the movie

Agreed..But its all about who is more desirable..The audience instinctively choose the favorite..

Ajay Devgan scored over Salman in HDDCS..

There was a reason why Rani became a big star after KKHH..we felt SRK's love for Rani and even though Kajol was hurting..we just understood and accepted that at that time Rani was loved more!It is unthinkable after DDLJ ,Baazigar and Karan Arjun..

On the other hand in DTPH,people were unhappy that SRK chose Madhuri..and as i stated earlier..Madhuri's career slid down hill after that..

There is a reason why Kareena struggled for so long to get Big projects..because when ever she was cast with another actress..be it Bips,PC,Rani or Kajol...she always got overshadowed..

And the reason why Illeana,Diana Penty etc couldn't score(in Getting Big offers)..because audience preferred the damaged heroines to the picture perfect,pure at heart,younger newcomers..for the hero !

Directors/producers immediately judge who connected..

JTHJ will be an acid test for Katrina and Anushka..lets see who is more desirable on screen..

I felt sorry for ajay when aish was looking for salman the whole time and he was right there with her but at the end of the movie, I felt sorry for Salman because she left him

^^^WE were happy she went back to Ajay.. WE can talk about acting ..who got more sympathy etc..

What feels right..is the true test.

Well, same case goes with other third members on the list provided as we felt satisfied which 2 were together in end. Sallu is remembered more for that movie more than Ajay.

I see your point with this interesting thread topic.

But somehere I realise your given choices can be divided in to 2 groups

Played clean character who didn't have a happy ending to their character. And yet stole the spotlight
