In my city the puja pandals dont charge people and stuff but since he is coming the organisers must have thought to earn money ...no surprise there...and W*F SRK performing at a puja?These celebs should sometimes behave like normal human beings.

Not only SRK, Shreya Ghosal, Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan were performing on each of the nights..

He's such a professional and commited star, thats why Yash ji loved him. Returning the money and continuing with mourning wasnt a choice ofc.

This Vashi Durga puja looks like had performances coz bollywood singers were also performing there...

You can see he looks strained throughout...tired and forced.

On another note, I never understand why people need to invite big stars etc to dance at pujas. Just weird.

Historically we do have cultural programs at pujas. Most these are done by locals who live around the pooja pandal. Sometimes stars are also invited to perform. But the audience gets to see these performances free of cost. If its a big star performing usually organizers pay him/her from sponsorship money.

Durga poojas and dandiya nights are completely commercialized these days. Stars are asked to perform to grab attention of the public.
