In terms of JTHJ I am not sure if the public would be kind if the movie is flawed. At present everyone is sympathetic. But there is a section of the crowd that looks at this situation differently [re: reason for most of the disgust/venting/anger in the forum]. We are the same lot that trashed Barfi as well and posted videos all over the net about Barfi's plagiarism.

Yes, everyone will watch the movie. Even the ones that weren't planning to watch the movie will watch it now. There is no question of that. I am more worried about the reviews. Are the reviews still going to be harsh? It is hard to predict with the public. Some will be kind, polite and sympathetic, but others will be harsh. It makes sense to be objective in general, but at the same time I think it is going to be hard for some of us to criticize the movie now, but for some it won't matter they will start trash the movie if they feel it should be trashed.

The fate of the movie at the box office doesn't matter to me whether it is a hit or a super hit. It will most likely cross the 100-200 crores mark. But I want JTHJ to be one of his best films - I hope it is presented in its ideal form. I want it to be his best product. Because I want us to remember this movie as one of his best movies. This is his last movie. I want it to be really good for the sake of his memory, and his family and friends.

I think the song should be shot. there's still time. it just a 3 minute song, how long would editing take it? no more than 2-3 days. it is not disrespectful to yash chopra's memory or anything. it is actually completing his movie and who better to do it than his own son? the song was intended for the movie, yash chopra wanted it there, to be honest the movie would be incomplete if it wasn't there.

it will be hard, actually very hard to go back to go back to same shoot with same ppl just Yashji missing. I think yashji would want them to complete the song and include it in the movie, like he intended.

has there been any official confirmation of this yet? to be honest i think they will get up and finish the song, as intended.

From SRK's tweet, what I feel is that they haven't really decided about what's going on with JTHJ yet, probably not even discussed what's going on with the film yet...and the media has reported prematurely without any official confirmation like always. Everything will be clear in a week or so probably.

Estel, yep. People will watch the film for sure, but expectations also rose by a lot now...if God forbid, the film sucks, I don't really think people will hesitate too much before trashing it. That's why I keep saying, I hope the film is as appreciated by the audience or even more than Yashji appreciated it. That would be the best thing.

Awww, it's a Yash Chopra film. It NEEDS a lovely Swiss Alps scene---if only over the end credits.

Aditya Chopra I am sure has already mutilated Yash Chopra's vision in this film. But atleast he was alive then. I hope nothing else is touched in the film from here on. I also feel relieved that Katrina will not get to wear the ultimate symbol of a Yash Raj heroine-The chiffon sari.

the question here is, what if some crucial portion of the movie was left off? lets say the climax for instance? what would they do then? show it as it is? or have someone (adi) direct it? ofcourse they would have. should be the same case here, no one is asking them to make any changes to the previously filmed and completed portions, no way, that is yash chopras.

song is a bit less important tho, but still, its the title track, it surely fits in there somewhere and will impact the film. and its a nice song as well. i think they should and will go ahead and do what they can with it.

think SOS should be moved now. JTHJ can not be stopped now, unless it turns out to be really bad (which i doubt and hope it isn't)

OMGGG YAY according to a srk fan page on FB the shooting of the swiss song will begin on 27th of october woho, and aditya will direct it :D
