Ajay wanted to move as it is but his ego wouldn't allow it. Sadly, he's got the perfect out.

Well I don't really think they will postpone the film...probably treat it as a tribute and homage to Yash Chopra and I certainly don't see them giving lots of interviews and promoting the film much...if we think about it, they don't even really need to.

Ajay will get brownie points from the audience also if he does decide to move it..as a sign of respect...sadly for him, there isn't really any good date left, business wise.

They should not move the release date and instead go ahead with 13th November itself

SRK, Kat and Anushka can scrap promotions but Aditya shouldn't cancel the release date because the show must go on for Yash Chopra's sake

I think Yashji really wanted this film to release on Diwali, because the announcement about the film releasing on Diwali was made mid-last year. I'm sure Aditya Chopra knows this, and would want the film to release on Diwali for the sake of his father. I'm sure Yashji, up there in heaven, wants the show to go on 😊

In the world of cinema, they always say 'the show must go on'.

For fans of the late Yash Chopra, the phrase has bittersweet significance as his ironically titled "Jab Tak Hai Jaan's" (Until There is Life) fate hung in the balance with the sudden demise of its director who succumbed to complications stemming from dengue on Sunday.

However, the head of Yash Raj Films' UAE office Nelson D'Souza has confirmed that the Diwali release of the Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer will go as planned, with "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" releasing across UAE cinemas on November 13, while it will screen a day later in India and global markets.

In an SMS statement to Emirates 24|7, D'Souza wrote: "The film will release as per schedule."

While the feature film's shooting is complete, as per sources, a promotional song featuring Khan and Kaif was to be filmed but was not completed as Chopra was admitted in Lilavati Hospital on October 13.

It is unclear whether the film will release without the song or someone from the family or friends will step up to complete the shoot

Everyone please stop with saying stuff you don't even know about. It's annoying to read fake facts.

First of all the movie is COMPLETED, all scenes are shot. It's just only a song which has not been shot other than that, the movie is completed.

And the song which is not shot is JAB TAK HAI JAAN TITLE TRACK and NOT HEER.

Also Jab Tak Hai Jaan title track was NOT going to be shot on them all but only on srk and katrina because it's a romantic track which shows them in love.

about this article, then I am very upset and sad that it doesn't get shot, I was so looking forward to it but I can truly understand why this song isn't happening anymore.

I consider this a very wise decision. It would be inappropriate to expect them to shoot at a time when they are grieving such a huge loss. Let the film release as it is because I'm sure everyone will watch it regardless of the song being present or absent.
