The actress performs her own stunts in Salaam-E-Ishq

Priyanka Chopra appears to be heavily inspired by Hrithik Roshan's stunts in Krrish. Although she doesn't come across as a dare-devil action heroine, Priyanka insisted on doing her own stunts for Nikhil Advani's Salaam E Ishq.
During the shooting, Nikhil wanted to shoot some risky shots for which he had hired a body double for Priyanka Chopra. "However, when Priyanka saw the scene being shot, she thought that the body double was not looking good enough," says Nikhil Advani. "So she came up to me and said that she would like to do the stunts herself. I can't reveal the scene, but she performed the stunts really well. Now the scene is looking real."
The actress was supposed to leave for Amsterdam the same day. "We were supposed to finish her scenes by 6 pm, but she stayed back till 9 pm and completed all the stunts before leaving for airport. In fact, she went to the airport straight from the studio," says Nikhil.
The director reveals that although Priyanka is going through troubled times since her father is undergoing treatment for cancer, she doesn't let her work be affected by it. "While working with her I saw that she has a spiritual side to her," he says. "She is extremely caring as a daughter, but she reports on time and never cancels her shoot."
