extremely unfair national award 2004

As much as I liked Saif in Hum Tum, it was not a national award winning performance. So no, I don't think it was fair. However, this is not the only shocker. Karisma Kapoor for Dil to pagal. Seriously? I would say Jury to pagal hai. And Arjun for Rock on?! Another W*F.

Karisma Kapoor looked stunning in DTPH. And I actually liked her chemistry with SRK in it, especially the lake scene which for me was the best scene of the film. I really wonder why the weren't cast opp. each other after that.
But I've said it before, why did she get a national award for the film? Even if it was best supporting actress, her performance was the wrong choice (IMO) Nisha was nothing to blow you away...so it just goes to show that National Awards get it wrong from time to time.
Saif, Karisma, Raveena and Arjun - all bad choices (IMO) But rather than Hum Tum, Saif should have been handed a national award for langda tyagi. Now that was an OUTSTANDING performance!

I think karishma deserved national award for DTPH. She was best. But saif for Hum Tum was National Joke of Award.
