Indian awards might be rigged but ARR has won Golden globe,Oscars,Bafta awards,Grammys. Lets not forget that.

The guitar bit is somewhat similar, but it's not a straight up copy as some are suggesting.

And are we really comparing ARR to Pritam, Sajid-Wajid and the likes? 😕

Sure ARR's music isn't always an instant blockbuster success in terms of sales, but you don't end up with 2 Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, 2 GRAMMY awards (the ultimate award for any musician!), 4 National Awards, 28 Filmfare awards (including South Films)...having his songs/soundtracks be listed in the top songs/soundtracks to listen to in the world...by fluke. His achievements are unparalleled in the Indian music industry.

I can still understand a SRK v/s Salman argument (both are superstars, both very popular, both contemporaries vying) but the mind boggles at the thought of A R Rehman v/s Pritam argument. Really??

@Sania, I agree. Ek ki baat karoon, toh dusre ki fans peeche par jaate hain. Dusre ke baat karo toh, pehli ki fans peeche par jaate hai. Unnecessary fighting. 😆
