Bollywood produces thousands of films every year. That means the creative juices dry out fast and obviously with content becoming so easy to duplicate i will not be surprised if the director has told A R Rehaman to give him something that sounds similar to the music in Motor cycle diaries

Anyways, even I was surprised with the accusation since it is ARR we are talking about. But when I heard the music from Motorcycle Diaries, I heard the similarity and it's definitely not as blatant as Burfi. So I don't know if it is a plagiarism per se or inspiration or anything else for all I care, but I loved the background music in the trailer and I loved the trailer as well since it doesn't give out any story line. Hope the movie lives up to it's expectation.

Is Barfi album plagiarismed?

I loved the trailer too and I'm hyper to watch the flick simply because it's been almost a year since I watched SRK on big screen. I'm a sucker for his movies as you know by now 😆

Barfi album don't think is plagiarized, though one of the songs' tune sounds similar to one of the old movies. I don't have specifics, but there was a whole debate about it on this forum. But Burfi did lift up frame by frame scenes from multiple movies, again it is being called a homage by Anurag and quite debatable as per this forum. So I won't go into that 😆😆 I still loved the movie for the cute fuzzly feel to it. You should watch it soon soon.

And I loved the trailer as well. The background music is different and very soothing and apt for it. Hopefully we get to see some more songs from the movie.
