do we need actresses? hell no! what does a sunny leone getting 7.5 crores opening and kareena 7.2 indicate. Majority of people dont give 2 cents about acting, bitter truth! forget people this biased industry even changes the awards according to verdict of the movie, had TDP been a flop i doubt vidya would have been given all the awards. Its all box office power at the end! (not saying she did not deserve awards, she totally did!)

If 1 flop had really affected anyone(of the big stars) careers Akshay Kumar would hav been the first to be kicked out of the industry !!! 😆

Rani and Priety started at around 97/98...by 2007/2008, they were already on a downward spiral with flops coming in from every angle. That's only 10 years. Deepika and Sonam swept in 2007 and even BS topics on Rani and Priety stopped running more than 2 pages. Kareena debuted in 2000, she is still going strong in 2012. She has never really hit a phase where she was ignored by the media. That's 12 years. She is always in the news, whether its for her professional life or personal. So the thing with Kareena is ...she has a very strong PR. Same for Priyanka. Even when these two sneeze, their PR makes sure it hits the headlines. Based on that alone, she's not going anywhere for at least a couple more years. Majority of her films have flopped or been panned despite success. In a 12 year old career, she has had more flops than hits. Yet, she is around. That says something. Hits and flops don't seem to have an effect on her career.
