Kareena looked better than VB, VB was required to gain weight for TDP but I don't think she can look as glamorous as Kareena. Acting wise i would say both were great! TDP had a better plot than Heroine so that is one thing that helped Vidya.

VIdya was portrayed as a B-GRADE movie STAR _-- where as KAREENA was a A-lister --- @@@ VIDYA can pull of ' OO LA LA ' but not HALKAT JAWANI -----/ @ VIDYA can do everything but DANCE and STYLE STATEMENT _@

script and screenplay play very important role in portrayal of a character by any actor. Heroine's script was bad and there was no definite story that's why Mahi's portrayal felt like patches of good acting while Silk's character was written very well that's why its portrayal was consistent and with good acting.
So I voted for Vidya.
Its not at all Kareena's fault, she is a good actress but ultimately script is the soul of any movie.

havent seen Heroine but too many reviews say she went OTT

or 'tried' - Anupama Chopra

Vidya got unanimous praise for her portayals in TWO movies

which had her as protagonist

TDP and Kahaani back to back!!!

also looking at the career graphs of both Vidya has done much

less movies than Kareena but her movies hv almost 100 percent

good performance from her. Parineeta, Munnabhai,Paa,Ishqiya,

BhoolBhulaiya,TDP, Kahaani. U feel giddy just tryng to list her]

great performances, roles with substance to them

Q. Kareena Kapoor is regarded as the top heroine but Heroine is no match for Viday Balan's The Dirty Picture, is she really the top heroine?

A. Top heroine is always debatable but Heroine is a plus for Kareena as a 7 crore opening is huge for any film where only the heroine is providing face value. The 7 crore number has come with a film like Heroine so with a more mass audience friendly film where she is the only star the opening can be much higher
