My fav title from a SRK flick is Kal ho naa ho... The title says it all

@Bold
Oh yeahhh 😆

I totally agree on that, and thats what I wrote in my very first post too that obviously it will have a relevance with the script, but I also raised the question that is only relevance is enough?
I mean the pre image of the movie depends on the title too which is not too classy or praise-worthy if we keep in mind the yashraj's standards.

To be honest, most of the titles these days rarely make sense 😆

Teri Meri Kahaani- when there were actually 3 craptastic kahaaniya

Ready- when the only relevance of the word 'ready' stood with me being 'ready' to throw a vase at my TV set whenever this movie came on, and gift Salman a chapalahaar

Cocktail- because three different people living in a house together, ooo, what a COCKTAIL, how CREATIVE -__-

Housefull 2- no.

Razz 3: Yeah, the Raaz of black magic being done by Bipasha, which Emraan Hashmi, the protagonist, KNOWS of. What a mystery 🤪

You know the title would have made a big difference in Hollywood but I highly doubt if it is the same case in Bollywood. Nobody rides on a title anymore from what I have seen so far. People are hell bent on the star cast and less importance is given to the plot or the screen play prior to release. But things are changing... Which is a good thing

Have you noticed that in all these pre movie release interviews, actors always say that their movie is different but it is not at the end. It's the same old story with different actors portraying roles. Well it's just my pov 😳

TBH the title stumped me at first as you associate 'Jab Tak Hain Jaan' with Hema Malini's song in Sholay. But when I read the poem I felt it was a well thought out title. But since the poem was written by Adi Chopra I think even the title was his doing and not Yash Chopra's. So dont blame Yashji if you dont like the title. The last film which he made on his own without Adi's interference was Darr and that was YC's last film that I loved.

You are sooo right Rach, these titles mean zilch 🥱 We have enough creativeness within us than these lousy movie makers who spend crores to make movies and give no importance to their titles 😆

Its more about THE YASH RAJ banner and most about YASH CHOPRA directorial which many look upto.
Housefull 2 and Raaz 3 were sequels/series thats why the names were there.
cocktail ready and tmk were I think not worthy films for which we should have discussed the suitable titles

Its more about the grandeur and expectations that we have from a YASH CHOPRA movie right from 70's as viewers wants everything perfect in his movies, and the title kind of disappointed atleast me

I don't even know why the "Yashraj" name is yelled about every year.

Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge- this title could be suitable for 90% of Bollywood movies. Lets face it.

Ek Tha Tiger- WHERE's THE TIGER! I know that its supposed to be some metaphor but.. naw.

Salaam Namaste- Whaddafuq. Who's saying Salaam, Who's saying Namaste? NO one!

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi- again, 90% of Bollywood films

IMO, the only "apt" titles that have come out of this banner are like "Veer Zaara", cuz yes, Veer and Zaara are central.
"Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year" <--- makes complete sense!

and about the Housefull and Raaz thing, then they're just making it too blatant an attempt to try and ride on the previous movie's success, like Murder. Nothing wrong with it, but no harm in updating the tagline or something 😆
