So all of us have seen the trailer of Yashraj's next Jab tak hai jaan that came out with good response from the viewers, as Yash uncle came to rescue his company's permanent employee Shahrukh Khan's status that he lost since the last 5 years, even the similar Anushka is coming for his rescue after RNBDJ on her motor-bike that she ran as Tani partner even 5 years ago in her last outing with Shah uncle 😆
Anyways sarcasm aside, on a serious note do you think that the title JUB TAK HAI JAAN suits the movie?
Its not that its an Srk movie that's why I am stating it... if Salman, Aamir, Hrithik or any xyz would have been in this movie at Srk's place, I would have made the same thread and raised the same question for the readers to discuss and give opinions about.
I know it will have the relevance with the script ofcourse, its not a rocket science to understand this.. but do u think only relevance is enough?
I mean don't you think this title sounds a bit hard, rough, in your face and kinda clumsy clumsy that especially coming from such a romantic and poetic director Yash Chopra whose films have subtle, beautiful, delicate & poetic titles like Silsila, Chandni, Lamhe, Dil toh pagal hai & Veer Zara.
The main problem is I think that this title instantly reminds the viewer the famous song of Sholay "Jub tak hai jaan may naachon gee" of historical Sholay that has such huge deep and ever lasting impression on everyone's mind. The atmosphere in which the song was sung and picturized was a village girl trapped in merciless ugly dacoits at the backdrop of a very harsh hard hitting action masala movie ... and I think that's the issue... its that impression on mind from that song that kind of stopping the viewers to jell in with the delicacy of this romantic movie.
Due to the backdrop of the title, its name seems kinda inappropriate for this product imo.
what u think?
are u happy & satisfied with this title or were you expecting something more intelligent, beautiful, original, poetic, delicate and romantic for Yash Chopra's romantic directorial after whole 8 years.
Do you like the title, or do you think it seems like a sour thumb for the image of this movie and with an otherwise perfect trailer .. do u think it feels kinda out of place and inferior as compared to the rest of the product ?
