The last topic was a little bit to much! 😉 So, I am reposting the topic! This to explore Bollywood's stars who can work on their own terms. They are at a POINT now where critical and commercial acclaim is way past them. In other words, they can DICTATE their own career. People who have this luxury are certainly the KHANS, BEBO, VIDYA, HRITHIK, etc. Please share your thoughts. Who can WORK on their OWN TERMS NOW?

i think Vidya .. these days , her stars are bright ...

she is apt alone to make a movie hit she acts in . she does not need any male star...

Out of the male actors, quite a lot of them, cause the industry is still a man's world, sadly.

Hrithik Roshan

Ranbir Kapoor (he's young, but he's already started working on his own terms because of talent, not star power)

Female actors, to be very honest,

Vidya Balan (that too, only to an extent)

Konkona Sen

Even the good actresses like PC or Kareena are at the mercy of their friendships with top actors or top directors. They are in a constant fight to maintain their positions, so no, even they can't afford to work fully on their own terms.
