NFL is National Football League. Let's just say America is as crazy about football as India is about cricket. 😆 Her song is the theme song for 2 months. It's a BIG launch especially for a newcomer. I don't know how the NFL picks the theme musics since I'm totally clueless about them, but I can't imagine they would pick any aera gera song you know? That too a complete newcomer...who's not from the country, hasn't come in through a singing reality show, totally unknown to everyone other than people who watch BW films. Then for a complete newcomer to even GET to collaborate with such biggies is a big deal in itself. Its an A-list launch for sure.

Honestly...take some random newcomer singer from the West that few people have heard of and have his/her song be the theme song for the IPL. That would be a valid comparison for what PC's single's launch is.

Oh wow. I had no idea the NFL was so huge. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Im sure PC is finding it quite daunting right now. This is huge for her.

IMO, she's gotten to where she is through networking. I think her management team has worked hard to help her build connections with the bigwigs in the american music industry. She was at a party with Ladygaga's music team a few months before she started recording/was signed on, I think?

Plus, PC, although not conventionally beautiful, (IMO) she is pretty sexy and has allure. (When she's not being too much of a wannabe.) and she's one of India's 'superstars'.
