On topic, I am so glad that someone is talking about the new breed of actors in town!! I am so tired of the Khans and the Kumars, get their wrinkly faces off the screens already and give the new generation a chance. Over here too, most topics are about one of the Khans or one Khan in a childish ego clash with another Khan, blah, move over.
Right, commenting on topic.
Varun Dhawan-- Which of the two is him? KJo's new movie's actors look similar, I can't tell them apart from the trailer yet.
Siddhart Malhotra-- Same as above, lol
Ayushman-- Has potential, not sure how he dances, but the guy can even sing! Right roles will take him places, but doesn't have that masala hero matter in him.
Ranbir Kapoor-- The guy has already proved himself and is already miles ahead from the lot here, he doesn't belong in this list. However, I do find his off-screen persona boring.
Imran Khan-- Love his off-screen persona and is cute looking, but is pretty dead-pan, which is why comedies like Delhi Belly suits him. I want to like all his movies, but have a hard time. Hope he does better and experiments with roles.
Prateik Babar-- Haven't watching anything to comment.
Shahid Kapoor-- How should I phrase this so that it doesn't sting... let's say he HAD potential, but has fizzled out and there are too many people in the competition already. Might just be a tad late now, ouch.
Ranveer Singh-- Shows potential and is a great dancer, but I cringe at his off-screen persona.
Arjun Kapoor-- Was good in Ishaqzaade, and looks promising, but can't say just yet.
Abhay Deol-- Again, has already proved himself as an actor, his only negative is that he can't dance to save his life!
Farhan Akhtar-- Should stick to direction or dialogue writing, which he's great at. Why? 1)his voice is annoying, 2)his looks doesn't do much for me and 3)he doesn't have a screen presence. Word of advice to him, just because you can, doesn't mean you have to.
Ali Zaffar-- Such a good looking bloke, but should stick to singing.
Neil Nitin Mukesh-- Shows so much potential, loved Jonny Gaddar. He needs a mainstream hit to be on par with his competition in terms of popularity, otherwise I fear that he may disappear into oblivion!
Emran Hashmi-- Geez, I am too biased on the kind of movies he does to comment, plus have only watched one, so wouldn't be fair on him.
