And all of that happens over a course of 4 days and starts with "love at first sight". So unbelievable for me 😆

My favorite classic romance is Pride and Prejudice...oh Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Thank God no one from BW adapts that though..I don't want to see it ruined. 😆 Its bad enough to read that ASR and his Khoosi are adapted from Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth.

Romeo and Juliet has never really appealed to me. As for PnP...every TV show with a wealthy brooding hero is supposed to be adapted from PnP. 😆

^Yeah me neither. I always thought it was the most overrated romantic story ever. It's not even Shakespeare's best work. From the very few Shapespeare plays I've read, I enjoyed Macbeth, Hamlet much more...Much Ado About Nothing (the comedic version of Othello) was fun too 😆

LOL so true...and it's such a baseless claim too. All these lallu panju versions of Mr.Darcy on TV aren't even 1/10000000000 of the CLASS of Mr. Darcy who is on a completely different level.

deepika was good but ONLY in cocktail, because that role suited her, i am not sure if she would be the right choice for a gujarati juliet...

also i dont think she has "fragile lady-like beauty", only ash suited perfectly for anything fragile or now it can be katrina..

Dear God in Heaven (or any alternate accommodation where thee resides...)

Please don't let any Hindi film maker come across Pride and Prejudice. I have too many good memories of reading and re-reading the book and watching the BBC series. Please God...
I don't want a Saas Bahu lady playing Mrs. Bennet- some TV type playing the taciturn Mr. Bennet and as for Darcy or Liz Bennet - I don't want a Jodha Akbar indianization...I can take only so much pain.
