I actually felt a little bad for him after watching the show. It must be hard to live in the shadows of a super star mom and dad and a world famous wife- with people expecting him to match upto them at all times. He's not bad, but he clearly doesn't have a good script sense. And he's not consistent in his performances either. He was the best of the cast in Dostana, Yuva and the disaster called KANK. Sarkar, Bunty and Babli, Paa and Bol Bacchan were good too.

i dont agree with him being strong to live with such faliure, he is an embarassment to the family name and instead of reconciling with faliure and trying to make it the new black, he should dust himself off and look for a career in which he can stand proud..

But I have to admit that the incident of the lady slapping him sounded exaggerated to me- I doubt people would walk upto him, a celebrity (however flop he might be) and slap him, or slap anyone randomly for that matter.

I agree Abhishek isn't bad but his choices(movies) are. On top of that he has to live upto his family name.Also his marriage with ashwariya makes him more prone to attacks from ash haters n sallu fans.😉Such a bad luck.

Read this before too, it was during his really early phase before Yuva-Dhoom happened. He was really poor during that phase and he accepted it and worked really hard. It shows in his latter films. I mean even during that phase he got some great film offers but he refused them saying he can't do justice to them and would end up spoiling them. Ex. Company. Its only after working hard and feeling confident about himself he started taking challenging roles.

Personally I find him to be the best actor among his generation and the current generation too. Love his choice of films but he probably went a bit too far with such films without proper commercial mix. Even the few commercial films he did, he didn't put all his efforts on it as he was not as interested those commercial ventures as he was with those risky films.

Also with him being Bachchan gets a lot of hate (dunno why). I mean even his flops/disasters in the risky subjects till KHJJS made as much as some commercial successful films of the so called current generation stars and yet he is ridiculed box office wise. All it took was a film with Rohit Shetty to go past the 100 cr. I think he is now planning to do just commercial films for some time but hope that he does some risky films in between them and maintains a good balance among those films.
