Hey, Ek Main Aurr Ek Tu was just 0.5 crores away from being a hit. Overseas it IS a hit and Imran's biggest films, even more than Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. 😉

Agent Vinod remains Saif's biggest opening, even bigger than COCKTAIL, which IS a hit.

i cannot believe saif gave kareena THE WORST movie of her career ..agent vinod.

he totally used and abused her.

But i heard one of the reasons the movie turned out crap was because the

director was FORCED to give kareena a role. so the whole movie had to be

re thought to accomodate her.

Knowing Saif i dont think he would hv tampered with his own film. so she must

have forced him to find a role for her.

and it spoilt the whole integrity of the movie. u know how good directors really

have to direct according to their own vision without compromising to get the

real product they envisaged. this went sadly awry due to the casting mechanics.

Cocktail is by far the biggest Saif opener. Not even close and it was competing with another film that did well at the Box office, The Dark Knight and had less screens than Agent Vinod.

And Saif's not the type who just plugs in success. Infact, he's been known to ridicule quite a lot of his failures, even if someone else during an interview mentions a flop film as a success, he normally laughs and corrects the reporter.

Worst movie of KAREENA'S career? Agent Vinod? Are you kidding me? Have you not seen atrocities like KI, MAMK, MPKDH? TALAASH? and God knows how many other films?

And what do you mean he "used" "abused" her? You think when Saif was making the film, he knew it wouldnt work? Saif was shocked by Agent Vinod's fate. Read any interview of Saif's, and he'll confess how he thought that Agent Vinod was the superhit they were making that would stand out in the year, while Dinesh was focusing on the rom com (cocktail). Sriram was surprised and still is. Just read his interview.

SAIF wanted Kareena to do stunts. SAIF wanted her to train. Sriram had combat scenes planned out in his head. KAREENA was too preoccupied with her other films to do that. KAREENA is the one of the reasons the film was delayed. KAREENA is the one who CHOSE to do this film becuase she wanted a HIT WITH SAIF. It was his most ambitious project.

And why blame Saif for HER failure? W*F kinda logic is that? Kareena's not a nanni kaaki is she? She has her own head, can make her own decisions. Saif didnt frikkin force her to do Agent Vinod. Chances are, she herself was excited to be a part of it.

Hold her responsible for her own decisions, why are you blaming SAIF? 🤪

but fact remains that agent vinod's lifetime collection was around 40 crore or something while Cockail is 85 crore

I dont know about AV but something similar was going on with LAK. SAIF wanted Kareena in LAK but the Director stuck to HIS choice and cast Deepika. It was all over the media how not only Saif but even Kareena wanted to do the film (she did his JWM). My respect for Imtiaz grew as its quite common for stars to get there way.
