Jatt And Juliet has emerged the biggest Punjabi blockbuster ever and has smashed all records for Punjabi films by a distance.

The film held up extremely well on Monday with multiplexes going housefull across Punjab after a bumper weekend. The advances are super strong at all multiplexes for the weekdays and the unprecedented craze of the film is likely to dent collections of Bol Bachchan in Punjab.

Jatt and Juliet will collected around 4.25 crore nett in Punjab in week one which beats the previous record of 2.80 crore by a huge margin and in two weeks it will most probably be the highest grossing Punjabi film of all time.

Jatt And Juliet has smashed all records in Punjab and is the biggest craze since Gadar in the state. Multiplexes are practically full in advance every day and the film will dent the collections of Bol Bachchan in Punjab in its second week. The first four days business is as follows.

Friday - 77,00,000

Saturday - 69,00,000

Sunday - 81,00,000

Monday - 58,00,000

TOTAL - 2,85,00,000

The above collections are from the East Punjab circuit plus Shri Ganganagar in Rajasthan. The film has also collected another 30 lakhs nett approx in Delhi/UP

  • Punjabi film JATT & JULIET has emerged a big hit in the international arena. The film is outstanding in Australia and USA-Canada, while its performance is very good in U.K. and New Zealand [on limited screens] ' TERI MERI KAHAANI didn't sustain in its second weekend.

    U.K. & IRELAND BOX-OFFICE

    • TERI MERI KAHAANI: In its second weekend, the film has collected 71,401 on 48 screens, with the per screen average working out to 1,488. Total: 3,60,879 [Rs. 3.11 crores].


    • JATT & JULIET [Punjabi]: In its opening weekend, the film has collected 37,639 [Rs. 32.44 lacs] on 8 screens, with the per screen average working out to 4,705.


    • SAGUNI [Tamil]: In its second weekend, the film has collected 9,504 on 9 screens, with the per screen average working out to 1,056. Total: 79,636 [Rs. 68.64 lacs].


    • FERRARI KI SAWAARI: In its third weekend, the film has collected 3,731 on 7 screens, with the per screen average working out to 533. Total: 1,37,868 [Rs. 1.19 crores].


    • ROWDY RATHORE: In its fifth weekend, the film has collected 1,135 on 4 screens, with the per screen average working out to 284. Total: 4,39,685 [Rs. 3.79 crores].


    • MALLU SINGH [Malayalam]: In its fifth weekend, the film has collected 351 on 2 screens, with the per screen average working out to 176. Total: 4,394 [Rs. 3.79 lacs].


    • DESI ROMEOS [Punjabi]: In its third weekend, the film has collected 241 on 3 screens, with the per screen average working out to 80. Total: 32,065 [Rs. 27.64 lacs].


    • MAYAMOHINI [Malayalam]: In its eighth weekend, the film has collected 172 on 1 screen. Total: 29,736 [Rs. 25.63 lacs].

    • FERRARI KI SAWAARI: In its third weekend, the film has collected $ 21,458 on 99 screens, with the per screen average working out to $ 217. Total: $ 4,20,046 [Rs. 2.32 crores].

    Punjabi cinema has really seen a revival.

    Is it a remake of some Bollywood film or is it an orginal story?

    Trailer seems like the usual rom-com set somewhere in Europe. Reminds me of Hum Tum kinda.

    no its not remake of any movie
    its comedy rom com , more than romantic its comedy ...and comedy is the USP and its not forced

    Ive been waiting to watch this for a while now but haven't got a chance yet I like Neeru and Diljit together! Glad it's breaking records... Looks good! will hopefully see it soon!

    I don't know why do Punjabis make their own movies; half of the Bollywood movies are actually Punjabi flicks dubbed in Hindi 😆
