Vick, dont you think your comments are a bit extreme? Just because you live abroad or an ABCD, does not mean you have to mock others or your own roots per say.

In regards to knowing english. Other than the states everyone speaks british english. The states is the only country that speaks american english and uses a whole different metric system, just to be unique. In europe like Spain or Sweden, people speak their language and english is a second language.

In Canada, Montreal and Quebec the primary language is 'french' and they dont like those who speak english.

In the States, Spanish has become the second language, because many mexicans, cubans, etc dont bother to learn the language, and Americans instead of encougaging them to learn, have made it easier by having everything in both languages.

The reason bringing this up is because at least most indians who come to the states know how to read and speak english even if its weak.

I'm not mocking anyone. I'm making comments based on what people have opinion of me. If one gets riled up by making a comment on India. then I will make a comment about it. Do you really think I'm making these comments because thats how I feel? anyways, to each his own.
