How is John as an actor?

Although he's not very effortless on screen, he has some interesting performances. I thought he was interesting in Aashayein. He also used to choose more interesting films earlier. I think now he has become more careful/conservative in his choice of work.

But John the producer over John the actor any day!

I think he used to be a terrible actor back in the day but he has improved big time recently. I remember him in Garam Masala and he was horrible but there is something charming about him, he always had a charm IMO. Recently I have been enjoying his performances in movies like New York, Dostana, Desi Boyz and Housefull 2. He is not that good of an actor but he is also nothing like imran khan or katrina. He is decent and I hope he improves with time especially his dialogue delivery. I think he does great in comedy films.

To me he is always some one whose serious acting = smooching and comedy = hamming on screen!

He is not an actor. NOT AT ALL. I consider him in the lowest of the lowest department. He's wooden, he's terrible. his movie choices are also terrible. He's here because he was/is a model. Nonetheless, he needs to do something about his face. It's sort of messed up... esp his skin.

^ What's wrong with his skin? I think he's extremely sexy. So yummy I can do him all night if I could! In BW, there is no one as sexy!

As for acting, oh well! How many actually know how to act?

really liverach? ok i do not have a very good sense of sarcasm in case your being sarcastic 😉 his first few films were all serious and all he did was smooching in them 😊 until he found his love in comedies and started torturing even more with hamming instead!
