It is plain vulgar movie and I think all Raj kapoor's wet saree movies are vulgar. Shashi kapoor lurking and lusting over one half of Zeenat Aman's body is plain ridiculous. That said ZA is just WOW and I love young Shashi kapoor. He was HOT.. And I love SSS too however its regressive and carry a horrible social message.😳

EDIT:Actually it carries a very important social message. Properly see both sides of a girl's face before hastily marrying her.😃

More than vulgar/cheap I find it pretty hilarious actually. Shahid is looking like a total retard doing that step, whatever the hell he is doing with his kurta! Now personally I was not present in 1910, but I am sure normal people didn't danced like this even then. 😆

Salman has the most vulgar for sure, but the Desi Boyz song signature step was vulgar as well as most of the choreographer for Chikni Chameli.

Has anyone seen old Karisma songs?

Sarkai Lo Khatiya and Aa Raha Hai Maza are pretty vulgar too even though the latter is supposed to be seductive.

Billa I don't think anyone is redefining vulgar here. We can't kid ourselves to believe that pelvic thrusting, crotch grabbing and gesturing towards one privates are innocent and just dancing. A lot of these movements are clearly emulated from what people do while having sex and hence by definition is vulgar. I don't think the stars intend to be crude or perverted. Sometimes they may genuinely be oblivious to what their movements indicate. But it is just how Bollywood cinema has evolved due to cultural apprehensions towards sexuality. It does not make it stop being vulgar. I remember very well how much controversy Raja Babu had caused because some of the songs were too explicit of dry humping even by Bollywood standards.
