I LOVE the way Nikhil sings "takraare" as opposed to Shreya.. his sounds so much more chill and in the mood of the song.

also, "jhale" in 'shaakhe har pankha jhale'... there's something he does haha I think he's sung it less Indianized than the way Shreya has sung it

Also, I gotta disagree with the majority =( and say I like Arijit's version of Phir Le Aaya Dil the most, more then Shafqat Amanat Ali.. he sounds a bit more chilled out, and yes, the music for his version is nicer.

I just LOVE the piano solo <3

Musicians are experimenting with different styles of singing, different voice textures, its such an exciting time!

On the other hand.. I have a hard time trying to relate to the music of yesteryear... they did not experiment AT ALL with different voice textures -_-

SOTY songs are catchy as hell. I am not a HUGE fan of them, mostly because of the lyrics, but they are good because they are so friggin' catchy. 😆

Omg same. I can't even hate on Disco Deewane because right from the beginning the "there's something about tonight" hook gets to me. 😳 I hate, hate, cheesy English lyrics, but Vishal & Shekhar are awesome.

Radhaaa. I am excited to see the video of that song! I am sure it'll be extravagant!

Same here! After I saw the making I got hooked to it even more..
Varun has a lot of charm in that song.. <3
