It depends on my mood Mogli - right now its the Shafqat Ali version. The female version definetly comes last. It somehow doesnt sound like Rekha B to me. The music is nicer tho IMO.

Honestly I dont think I dislike any song in this album - am not even neutral on any - love them all.

TBH, before listening to the songs of Barfi! I never used to pay attention to lyrics... But, these songs are just... just... can't explain what these are ❤️☺️

I agree and I dont even know urdu so had to call a friend to explain some parts of Phir le aaya 😆

The other songs are simple words but makes my hear melt - totally in love with them😳

Okay I'm eating my words. A few days back I said I don't like that Rekh Bhardwaj version as I didn't find the Rekha I love. But yesterday I was listening to the album... I was half asleep... After Shafqat's, Rekha's song started... As I was sleepy "It's a Rekha Bhardwaj song" thing was out of my mind... I was listening to the song as if I was listening to a new singer. Only then I found how sweet & effortless that version is. Now I feel I love it more than Shafqat's version. Yeah, I LOVE the Rekha Bhardwaj version more than the others.
