The reporter is just using India's name for writing her own personal opinion..She doesn't realise that most people in India understand and accept that a woman puts on weight with age and motherhood and it is not a shame in India unlike in Western countries

Issues on her weight are getting heavier than her weight so now she should endeavor to reduce her corpulance sooner than soon if she does not has to be lambasted again by her followers.

I agree with that! India is fine with a with the way she looks, the indian entertainment media isn't. The Indian media is shoving Hollywood standards down our throats.

^^^Well isnt Ash an international icon? Then she should be judged by international standards. She has always turned her nose at the Indian media and chased the international media. So its fair that she is compared to celebirities whose leaugue she thinks she belongs to.
PS:I have not seen TV news but print media is generally supportive of Ash. Barkha Dutt also tweeted in her favor on the weight issue.

This topic seems to have caught the world media's attention..

The Guardian, Huffington Post, Dailymail, New York Times, Sydney Morning Herald, ABC News, Herald Sun, Adelaide Now, and even papers in the middle east! Everybody is writing about it. Not sure if it is a good thing because now even the international media would be keeping an eye for her weight.
