September baby for Twinkle-Akki

It can finally be confirmed. Twinkle Khanna is pregnant. She is already in her second trimester and will deliver her second baby in September 2012.
For months, there has been speculation over whether she is preggers or not. It didn't help matters that she hasn't been seen in public since she conceived. Not just parties and events, she even stopped meeting friends. But now she's ready to share her happy news and last week she told a few of her close friends.
Says a source, "Tina (as Twinkle is better known) and Akshay (Kumar) are expecting their second child. She was advised rest, which is why she hasn't attended any function or event in months. She even skipped Riteish Deshmukh's wedding and David Dhawan's son Rohit's wedding in Goa earlier this year."
Akshay has only just begun confirming the news to friends after Tina was spotted with a baby bump at a five-star coffee shop in Juhu last week. We hear that doctors have now given her permission to move around and she will make her first public appearance at childhood friend Karan Johar's 40th birthday party on May 25.
The source adds, "Akshay is gearing up for baby number two. He plans to stop shooting shortly and be by his wife's side after the baby arrives, just like he'd done when their son Aarav was born 11 years ago. In the coming months too, he plans to shoot in the city to spend as much time as possible by his wife's side. Not just Akshay and Twinkle, but everybody including Akki's mother, sister Alka and Tina's parents Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia, and sister Rinke, are gearing up for the new entrant into the household."
Akshay's birthday falls on September 9, and Aarav too was born in the same month. Seems like September is a lucky month for the Kumar family!
Amrita Arora is expecting again
It was Shilpa Shetty's baby shower on Thursday but with the actress fighting shy of the media, we brought you an eyeful and more of her gal pals who stood tall in their comely pins.
Just this: Amrita Arora, who is otherwise quite the hot-bod, looked a tad plump in the picture. While we could have only attempted a guess, Mirror can now reveal Amrita is four months into her (second) pregnancy.
A friend of the actress spilled the beans, "Amrita is due in late October. She is in a very happy space. You can see her glowing. And she is still getting offers to act in films but for now, she wants to be just a mother, all over again."
Not very long ago, the beautiful and sexy Amrita had made men swoon with her hot number Dilli Ki Sardi from the film Zameen. In March 2009, she tied the knot with builder Shakeel Ladak. Their first child, a son, was born in February 2010, even before the couple's first wedding anniversary.
And while Amrita hasn't been very vocal about her second pregnancy and neither is her baby bump too visible yet, a friend nudged her about the possibility at Shilpa's baby shower. One thing led to another, and the cat was out of the bag.
Said the friend, "It's celebration time again for Shakeel and Amrita's family. The two of them wanted the second baby soon. And God has blessed them."
We tried contacting Amrita but she chose to be coy about it.
