What was so special about DON 2 and DON?

😕😆 I think these movies are both overrated, one was the remake and the other was supposed to be a original script. 😛 Shahrukh Khan was trying to act bad-***, but he succeeded to some extent. Priyanka was better in the first one. The second one hardly did any justice or depth to her character. And in the first one, Arjun Rampal was slightly better than Kunal Kapoor. Boman Irani never suited villain roles in my eyes. He is better off doing his lame comedy like Paresh Rawal. 😆 Farhan Akhtar is a very stylish director, but his story-telling begs a lot to be desired for. Was this the same director of Dil Chahta Hai and Lakshya who made both these films? Please share your thoughts. What was so special about DON 2 and DON?

I liked Don...didnt like Don2 much. It was too Westernized for my liking and I couldnt connect to it. I would rather see a more desi thriller like Kahaani.

I liked Don a lot. One of my favorite movies till date. Didn't like Don 2 much. Looked too stretched for me. I liked PCs performance in both of these movies and Shahrukh on the first one.

In Don, Don was smarter than everyone else. In Don 2, everyone else was made to look stupid, in order to show how smart Don was. That was lame.

The first Don was alright, but Big B's Don I found the best

DON 2 is better and classier...the second is not for masses, its for classes /plexses.
