Everyone,

Rach and Baljit got a self ban bcoz they have exams coming up. They said they will come back in a couple weeks once they are done.

Xeta was banned for the same reason that Dr3vil was banned. His privacy was violated bcoz she posted some extremely sensitive personal info abt him and thats why they banned her.

Inspite of repeated warnings, the issue was being dragged and thats why action was taken.

Seriously though, what's going on with the banning sessions? Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't members supposed to be 'warned' first through rises in their warning level before being banned? as far as I know, members are warned about like five times (each time their warning level increasing by 20%) up until then when they reach their full limit and then are banned. How come members with zero to very low warning level are being banned immediately without any prior notice? I have zero warning level, for instance; will I too face a ban immediately instead of one or two warning level rises when I loose my temper someday? How fair is that? (This is not an attack on anyone; I just want clarifications on how things work here).

Banning does not happen suddenly... Lots of chances are given to members. There were warnings given, there were requests made thru PM...Thats lot of prior notice.

A GM had to intervene and two sticky threads were created related to the issue, even then the issue was being dragged.

As recently as yesterday I PMed and requested to let go of the issue and not drag it any further. We tried our best to resolve it here so that no extreme action is taken like banning. But If members cannot cooperate, then there is very little we can do from our side.
