This Kareena reeks of insecurity. Despite having the Kapoor surname, a famous filmy family, a successful sibling in the A-lister category, so many filmy friends and contacts, the pretty face and the money--she is so bad at hiding her insecurities. As much I don't like Amisha, her statements were plain rude and immature.
I would say that as a 20 something yr old, it's immaturity, but there have been other star children who don't express as much arrogance as she does. I guess she thought she could make Bollywood dance on her tunes, but it turned around and bit her in the ass.
I for one, do not find the old Kareena entertaining. I think women can be entertaining, funny, smart, and humble--Zooey Deschanel anyone? Being a loud mouth or stating your opinion doesn't necessarily make her "real" or "entertaining". She comes off as an idiot and rambles on and on on such trivial things. One can filter their thoughts and be entertainment through mere wit, charm, and adorableness. I'm glad, she's grown up and become less snobby and more relatable. I guess she's endure her share of failures.
As for her comments, some of them were cringe-worthy, some just plain rude, and some totally ridiculous--either way, it doesn't matter b/c the person she was bashing is the same person she was dying to work with. She called him a religion, if I'm not mistaken. I don't care for her fickle-mindedness, but some do. Either way, I hope Kareena will stay the water-down version of her former self for the days ahead.
