Whats new? Akshay has no respect for craft. His mouth is where money is!!! I don't even care about his movies since ages.

if mahesh babu done simply one ad of cola , it does not mean that Akshay lost it forever or else his popularity has been lesser .. i bet he would do such more Ads even further .. Whatever and wherever Akki is , doing great that too with penchant . i wish him best of luck for his ensuing movies . hope that all go hit...

LMAO what does an add have to do with his popularity? Just because he has lost one add.. his star status is less now. And who is that Mahesh Babu? I don't even know who he is and I bet many others don't either. Akshay is known all over India and worldwide so I don't think we can compare his popularity with Babu. DB was a successful movie, many articles have said that.. not only this one.

He really needs to start choosing some good films but even then he cant pull anything besides non sensical comedies which arent doing him any good lately.

akshay was signed to thumbs up i guess thts the cola drink they are referring to for several years...he must be getting a good chunk of money from the brand himself...and in today's times even one brand is important...

It is important as when stars are at their peak brands go to any length to retain the star. This proves that Akshay's stars are no longer shining. Thumbs Up was really a big brand for Akshay. They even used to sponsor his TV show. Dont recollect seeing him on TV lately in any other promos too.
