What a shit film, honestly, the storyline was pathetic and not realistic, it was wayyy to long (3 hours!) and it was just shit overall.

would not reccomend this to anyone, one of the worst films i've seen in the past year or 2.

The only good thing about this film was Kareena Kapoor, damn she is finee.

gotta admit that the Saif Ali - KK union seems fake and pretense most of the times. Like they're together cuz o their market value increased, I know same applies for numerous other celebs, but with them, they just have a horrible, horrible chemistry on and off screen. Everything looks fake, and forced. Not in the beginning, but now it sure does look like that.

I think its a bit unreasonable to assume that Kareena is with Saif for market dictated reasons.

Considering that they're not doing anything with each other for a while, and the fact that they did not once use their couple for publicity in this film.

Only appeared together ONCE in 2 weeks for a promotional event.

And its not like Saif is some hotshot superstar that Kareena can milk for mileage. Surely if she wanted a superstar, she can easily hook up with someone younger and on the rise.

Its not easy to be together wtih someone for 5 years just for shallow reasons like market dicated reasons WITHOUT being disloyal.

Sure, I always felt John and Bipasha were together just for the market perks, but then, there were always stories aobut them having an open relationship.

Kareena & Saif are known ot have the most legit relaitonship outta all celeb relationships in bollywood.

If anything, Kareena did this film FOR him. She hates doing action and loves doing romance, but coz Agent Vinod was Saif's dream project, she wanted to be a part of it.

Not the msot profsesional thing in the world, but you do things in love that arent hte best or most calculative moves.

And keep in midnt aht Saif and Sriram came up with the IDEA of Agent Vinod togehter. ITs not like Sriram showed up at Saif's door with a ready made script.

Saif had an IDEA and then approached Sriram to work on it. But yes, that was in 2007, and by the time Sirram was finalizing the script, Saif got together with Karena and asked Sriram if he could write a character in the scirpt for her. That is NOT unprofessional becuase I mean...Saif is the producer who was part of the scripting process all along and then asked if there was room for a female character in the film that woudl be strong enough.

Not the wisest of decisions, but not pathetic or unimaginable.

I'm sure people who hate Saif woudl have said the opposite if an article came out saying that Saif had the opportunity for the most ambitious project of his life and he had the chance to involve Kareena, but he didnt but chose some other hot gal. That would also have gotten twisted by people who dislike Saif BECAUSE they dislike Saif

I liked the first promo but got really bored with the rest. However, I think I might catch this film this weekend..outta curiosity! Haven't read any reviews... I'm wondering if it's worth it. Apparently Saif is really good!

I dont want to divert the discussion but I do agree. Saifeena always came across as fake to me. I dont understand why some people gush about them so much. But anyway thats personal taste. As for those who think they never benefitted each other-they did. We have Saifeena doing Airtel, Clinic Plus ads all over. Endorsements is big money these days. For actresses they at times pay more than films. Joint endorsements was the reason JA-Bipasha stayed together all these years and also rumoured to be the reason Abhi-Ash are together. Lets also not forget the join appearnce fees at events. I personally feel most actor-actress romances are fakes these days.

About AV I still think its too early to pass a verdict about its BO numbers. But after Kahaani and PST trade analysts have been reminded that a film must have good WoM and must pick up post the first weekend otherwise it hasnt really worked. Thats why people are being cautious before calling it excellent.

From the reviews it seems the film went wrong trying to show too many locales. They had to justify the need for those and it played havoc with the story. And personally I feel only Kareena was sufficient to provide glamour in the movie. There was no need for so many expressionless, plain looking firangi babes.
