People making it out to be that industry is sexiest.

But with the Khans rulling the industry, they carried the whole movie on their shoulder that's why they get paid more money.

Whatever you hate it or not! Man are still rulling the industry, you wouldn't expect woman to get pay more money because they're far from being hero's. Kareena in this interview sounds very ignorant and annyoing.

Women used to rule the industry when Sridevi was working. She got paid more money than all her heros. I see it as fair that SRK, Aamir and Salman are rulling the industry because if their movie is releasing, even if it's opposite a newcomer that movie will cross 100 crore. Khans create hype around the world. I live in the USA and I went Beligium and I have seen how people love Aamir and SRK

I liked this interview, definitely one of her better ones. As far as arrogance is concerned, how is that surprising in a star? Of course she is arrogant. As was her sister in the 90s, the era of epic star fights. 😆 Instead of denying it, fans should embrace their idols' flaws and eccentricities. Bebo's crazy comments are usually a lot of fun.

That being said, I think she came off quite 'normal' in this interview (not much of her usual insanity). That exchange about the Khans chasing her (initiated by the interviewer, not her) was clearly in humour. And she is right, the industry is biased towards men. Actresses are generally underpaid. There have been a few exceptions over the decades of course but that's what they are: exceptions, not the norm.

BTW, I like it when Bebo speaks in Hindi. She should do that more in her interviews.

I watched her interview after reading the thread. Was expecting outrageous comments. But, not quite sure why Kareena is being targetted. She sounds sane/her usual self. I didn't even catch the title quote in the video. Much debating over nothing.

LOL when did this kapoor lady has similar BO power to khans? forget about bo, she doesnt have scenes in those films as well.

I can understand if she asks money for jab we met or asoka where she played one of the main roles...all other Khan films, 3 idiots, ra 1 and body guard were all about a small role and films ran on Khan's shoulders.


Actresses cant ask money because they are female stars. It depends. As an example I deeply condemned if katrina get paid l;esser than Imran.. Forget abt kat getting underpaid, but who the hell overpaid Imran?

when it comes to BW, its all abt male star power so far, Vidya and Kat are changing that. so like i said it depends... why do hollywood stars like Anjelina jolie and brad or julia roberts and Tom or who ever get paid eaqual, because all of them are huge stars irrespective of their gender..what i meant was, there is no major gap in stardom when it comes to a film based on gender in hollywood...all of them have same appeal among boxoffice and public. Its not the case with Bollywood so far.

Kareena is the main role/main attraction in Heroine, so she can ask for more than Arjun and I think she should get more than Arjun. But her demanding equal amount for khan film is hilarious, because she had fewer scenes and few work and was not the reason why those films worked. Simply can not tell about Kajol in Khan films, where she played an equal important role, got similar number of scenes and added a huge buzz because of her. More importnantly unlike miss Kareena, actresses like Kajol, Vidya and Katrina work eaqully hard in promotions as the male star where miss lazy kapoor never give her full capacity over promotions and prefer much more projects than her availability and vacations in Switzerland.

kareena was emmm tongue in cheek! the interviewer told her they are chasing her. and its true they are...ehhh sach hi tou bola. that too jokingly. and it's true heroines are underpaid! what's so controversial?
