^^^He isnt a superstar that is true. But his Bachchan tag keeps him afloat. Even kept him afloat in his pre-Yuva/Dhoom days when he had 20 flops to his (dis)credit.

Anyways why is no one saying anything about Karishma's contribution to helping out her sister? 😔

Karisma definitley helped!

I mean, even Kareena says that her sister practically paved the path for her and got her connections.

I would infact contribute more to her being Lolo's sister than the Kapoor tag tbh. If Kapoor tag was gonna help, it should have helped Lolo as well, but it didnt.

ANd Raj Kapoor's own son, Randhir, didnt get very far, while Rishi did.

20 years from now if people look back, they will recognize Karishma by "Kareena's sister", and not the other way around. Ironic how destiny plays out, no?
As for the Kapoor tag, sure it helped her in her initial years in the same way Kajol's KJo/YRF/SRK crutch, Rani's connections, etc etc helped them. There is hardly a celeb who survived in the industry without initial leg ups or a Godfather.

And like it or not, Kareena is one of the more successful Kapoor stars, and certainly the most successful of her generation. She isn't the second/third highest paid actress for no reason. And she is still going strong despite of staying in the industry (and the limelight) for like 12 or so years - has Karishma achieved that?

Really? Yes Kareena is popular right now but she hasnt achieved undisputed queen bee status like how Madhuri and Sridevi achieved in their times. I think 20 years later when Kareena would have retired from young heroine roles and have two kids both sisters would be on equal footing.

Bingo.Yes 20 years from now Karishma will be known as "Kareena's" sister.Kareena was and is much popular than her sister or her other contemporaries even during her initial days when she gave flops after flops.She is in this industry for 12 years and still have many good movies in her kitties.Did Karishma had such a vast range of movies on her 12th year?She was married off by that time.

Not to mention that Kareena'a already achieved so much more than her sister.

A wax statue and Madame Tussauds isnt a piece of cake.

Madhuri, Kareena, Aishwarya are the only 3 who were able to do so. And Madhuri got one AFTER Bebo, which is debatable, but it certainly says SOMETHING about Kareena's fame and accomplishments.

Kareena's 32, and her career's still on the rise.

I remember critics and audiences showing a thumbs down to Kareena when she debuted in Refugee.She has had her string of flops even with the Kapoor surname unlike Ranbir who was raved by the critics since he was launched in Saawariya.
So I don't think the Kapoor tag didn't help Kareena much.Excitement was there before Refugee released,but the result was bad.

She got unanimously positive reviews for the film. Overshadowed Abhishek completely, and won a few debut awards as well.

Kareena Kapoor has a magnetic personality, which will make the viewer fall in love with her instantly. On a scale of 10, Kareena's performance deserves 9 marks, dialogue delivery 8 and overall personality 10. What surprises you is the ease with which she emotes the most difficult of scenes, that too against experienced performers. There's no denying the fact that she is a natural performer who is very camera friendly - Taran Adarsh
