Heelllo.. there are tons and tons of movies produced in Bollywood.. quite a lot of them send out a message voluntarily or involuntarily.. People do look upto these things.. trust me some people really do..
so what movies accroding to you sent out a wrong message??

Mohabbatain: Mohabbatain was full of wrong messages..Dont's listen to your principal/professor.. Parhayi likhayi sab chor do and do some mohabbath.. Commit suicide if you don't get your love.. 🤢

Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna: OMGGG what a waste of time..leave your spouses and commit adultery please do so else you won't be as cool as SRK.. Don't try and work out your marriage just leave your kid and wife in the middle of a road to fulfill your lust 🤢

Will add more when I remember.. share your views..

Raja ki aayegi baraat - Apparently, if a guy rapes a girl and then marries her, she gets her "INSAAF" and becomes "pavitra"..🤢

Pardes - I just hated the way they stereotyped indians to be all nice and cultured and westerners to be demoralized jerks...

DTPH - madhuri's character is so DELUSIONAL and i hated tht they tried to glorify it as the "ideal girl"...all tht sapno ka rajkumar crap..she buys valentine presents for herself for heavens sake!!!..she lives in her own dreamworld...she has no career (until srk forces her to join the troupe)...god knows wht she does sitting at home all day in white salwar kameezs and dancing around trees dreaming...nothing wrong with being romantic..but she was just dumb as a door knob...nisha is faaar better because she actually lives in the real world, works on her career and is practical, while still being a romantic at heart...

Not every movie is meant to give out a social message. And i do feel there is no right or wrong.. specially in a thing like art...Movies tell stories of different people.. there are all kinds of people out there.. perfect.. flawed.. Its not always fun to see perfection on screen.. sometimes its good to see flawed things.. people.. tricky situations.

I don't think the message of KANK was "committing adultery is okay." I think the message of KANK was that marriages sometimes don't work out and divorces happen. SRK's character pissed me off the in the movie, and Idek why Rani's character "loved" him. But seriously, Preity's character deserved better than Dev or whatever his name was. And I am glad she left him, and moved on with her life, because her husband was an idiot. I would have hated to see her work things out with him, tbqh. Like no, she deserves better than him, omg.

Mohabbatein, I somewhat agree with. But Narayan Shankar was a piss-off too. I don't understand what school life has to do with personal life. Him restricting his students from falling in love - W*F man?

Okay, a movie I think that had wrong message? Hm. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, sort of. The fact that Rahul didn't realize his love for Anjali until she turned all pretty and girly. And how he fell for Tina right away because she was exactly that... ugh. It's almost like saying "tom boys will never find love unless they change." W*F man LOL. No one should have to change themselves to get into a relationship.

There are probably a bunch more, but I just can't remember.

KANK was the first thing that came to my mind. It was just a messed up film. I felt like they were saying, if you're marriage is in trouble, don't work towards it, go find happiness in some ohter married person's arms

Haha I always enjoy the effect Pardes has on non-resident confused desis. 😆

As for KANK, I think the movie would have been even better if they had made the following changes: SRK has the affair with a married Kajol while SRK's wife (played by Rani in this version) elopes with Big B. 😆

Aa Gale Lag Jaa (1973) had a weird social message too: it's apparently ok to have sex with an unconscious person under the pretext of saving them from hypothermia. 🤪

I swear to God I have never seen a more W*F movie than Raja ki ayegi barat.

First the guy rapes the girl.
Then the girl wants to marry the guy.
Then they get married.
Then they live happily ever after...

WHAT.WAS.THAT????????🤢
