Shahid and I have been accepted as a pair

Kareena will return to India on June 14 from the Rock Star tour, only to join the unit of Farhan Akhtar's Don in Malaysia. "I just have a special appearance in Don. But my song 'Yeh mera dil, pyar ka deewana' rocks. I know there will be comparison with the original (Helen in Chandra Barot's Don). But hopefully all comparisons will be forgotten once people see what I've done."

She agrees she has an abbreviated role in her new release 36 China Town. "But the best part is that Shahid and I have been accepted as a pair by the audiences after this film," she says. "So I really don't think life can get any better…"

Having lost a lot of weight before her departure, Kareena seems to be rocking, literally speaking, in the US, where the Rock Stars concerts are being held.

"The concerts are going well," she tells us from Washington, minutes after Shahid and she received a thundering applause for their performance. "We've just finished our performance. And the ovation is almost unreal. For Shahid, this is the first time. He has never done live concerts before. And yes, he's having a ball here too."

"Shahid and I have an act together," she continues. "I also have a dance number with Salman Khan. We've just finished our show at Washington. We're going to Boston now. Next week we'll perform at Chicago, New York and then Toronto."
