I am not a celebrity so what does my opinion on SRK or Imran have anything to do with what I choose to do with my personal life? They quit because in their own words they were getting sick of the hatred. Yes, I criticized them. Cowardice does not suit public figures. As for me, I did not quit for the same reason. I wasn't being subjected to hatred, the hate pms I always get them, they're not strong enough to scare me off. Secondly, I was vocal about my annoyance with people self-banning themselves because they did so out of hurt or spite. I have mentioned the same several times so you picking and choosing my words to prove your point is just plain silly. I was vocal because I could not understand how or why anyone took something online so strongly to the extent of banning oneself. Personally, I had no major showdown with anyone before my ban. So your assumption about me being hypocritical or a chickenshit is wrong. Then again, I assume that you like to believe the worst of me to feel better about yourself. I left because I was bored. I came back because I wanted to. Plain and Simple.
The thread that Zainab and I made did not include the two of us alone. Lot of people participated in it. It crossed 100 pages. Clearly, if people disliked it that much or were so scared as you put it, they would have reported it or not participated at all. Or the pages would just be filled with Zainab and my comments. That wasn't the case, was it? You blame me for Shee's exile, you blame me for Pragya or Lilly's exile. Well let's face it, I did not put a gun to their head and force them to leave. They left because they couldn't handle it. That's their prerogative. I have nothing to do with what people choose to do with their lives. I can only control mine.
You call me judgmental and overly critical. Yes, I am. But you know what your issue is? You like to think you're straightforward but you're just another whiny mcwhiner. Fighting with me on bollywood related topic is one thing, we do it, we forget it, we move on. It's taken in the spirit of a debate, done, dead and buried. But taking constant digs at me or Zainab just to lionize yourself or prove that you're straightforward in the face of us two "cynics" is frankly very juvenile. You don't have to prove your courage by taking digs. You can directly confront us. Either way, Zainab isn't even here, so taking digs at her is just below the belt. Then again, that's your forte.
