what nonsense! Karisma completed her school and even enroled in Sophia's Girls College in Mumbai, but dropped out to pursue movies!

The reason why men in BW are more educated than women as there is an emphasis on youth as far as females are concerned. Just look how 40+ superstars are starring opposite women 20 years younger than them. Most of the women start trying for films soon after school when they are 15-16. They may get a break by the time they are 17-21 depending on many factors. Life becomes busy after that leaving no time for completing graduation. By the time they hit 30 their career peaks and they are over. Things are changing now as we have a few 30+ actresses doing well currently. So maybe in the future actresses will be more educated. The public anyways doesnt come to the theatre seeing her qualifications unlike a doctor.

Abhishek did not graduate he left college midway!
